Hello, Looking for someone who lives close and will be keen to run along Cooks river. The pace I can go long distance (say 10k) with is roughly 5:15 min/km. We can go slower&longer or faster shorter, trying different things&exercise methods but maybe we need to be in somewhat similar fitness level to start with. Looking forward to hearing from you (semester break is a good time to get going)

About Running in Australia
Running is one of the simplest and most effective forms of exercise, requiring nothing more than a pair of shoes and the open road. From parkrun to ultramarathons, Australia has a vibrant and welcoming running community for every pace and distance.
Getting Started
Joining a local running club is a great way to stay motivated, learn from experienced runners, and find training partners for long runs. Apps like Strava and events like parkrun (free, every Saturday) make it easy to connect with other runners.
Running in Australia
Major running events like the Sydney Running Festival, Melbourne Marathon, and Gold Coast Marathon attract tens of thousands of participants each year. Trail running is especially popular in the Blue Mountains, Dandenong Ranges, and Perth Hills. Find a running partner near you on Sports Match Maker.
